It's hard to deal with the fact we live in a nation

It's hard to deal with the fact we live in a nation of total buffoonery rather than the half to three quarters we're used to. It's Memorial Day 2025 and trump has spent his patriotic windfall day castigating Joe Biden and the last four years, which only means he is apologizing to his far right handlers that Joe Biden interrupted the original 2016 plan. Stephen Miller, Rush Limbaugh ( I know, he's dead) and all the fuckheads sitting like the devil on trumps shoulder, whispering sweet nothing pain into his ear, had to wrack their brains to come up with 2025, which, if you remember, is when the ogre took the presidency. I also wondering how old Joe, who for only reasons known by God, thought he was the One, the Big One, who would save us from Donald Trump. They're both wrong of course, because it's J.D. Vance Wow, I am being cynical today. Sometimes, often, I forget I'm a veteran. I spent four years giving support to the idea that a nuclear exchange would be t...

Unfortunately for mankind and woman kind consciousn

Unfortunately for mankind and woman kind consciousness and knowledge too isn't passed on to each other through osmosis or genes, only instinct is, so that with each child born limited to whatever the community wants or needs, and with each one have to start all over again.. Who is the enemy, who do you trust, who is going to fight which proxy wars for us or against us? Like the righteous brothers lament, you've lost that instinctual feeling. The only real instincts seem to be crying when hungry, fear when frightened and given the amount of time, to crawl and get up on your feet and run like crazy. The supreme alien that put us here, or at least the one who put those crazy words in out head had to see we couldn't run faster than the lion, hear as good as the jackal, weren't as big as the dire wolf, so giving that much to evolution humans inVented their way to the gun. Life is simple, isn't it? That was the first thing I learned in anthropology is humans are tool ma...

Hope is not a real thing

“Nothing’s perfect, Nothing's forever ever, and Nothing's guaranteed.”   In many essays over the last few years I have complained about the democrats complacency about not coming to a consistent regard for (1) accepting that democracy itself is a war between factions and not a gentlemanly protocol riddled process, (2) the definition of "fascism", (3) the definition of "genocide", (4) how america can be a dictatorship even when politicians say it isn't. Now we can question "justice". Since we now have a president that was impeached by the house twice, fomented revolution, pardoned convicted felons based on arbitrary reasoning, dictates by executive disorder, rebels against judicial decrees based on whim and indiscreet power. It didn't start with him though. The use of executive action has been utilized many times by both democratic and republican presidents usually in matters of military "action" since we dont have real wars anym...

Everybody is a nobody

Everybody is a nobody Democracy is a horse race without any winner. What we should be doing is making sure that the political philosophy of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, both Clintons, and even the beloved black president, whose name escapes me at the moment, oh yeah, Barack Obama, all of whom have betrayed the modern world, which needs to escape the suffocating prison-like  void all the greedy, selfish, and godless men who mimic and expose themselves in a mirror.  Israel looks like a desolate place from every angle. America failed in Korea, failed in Vietnam, failed in Afghanistan, failed in Iraq, and now we are failing in Israel and in the war of economic reprisals. How much failure can Americans take and still do nothing, think nothing is wrong, except the nuisance of having a president with the mentality of a leprechaun? Sorry, Irish, but he's about gold, luck, and four leaf clovers as politics. It's all a bad screenplay of atlas shrugged being acted out Kehlani is the latest ...

Murder is Murder is Murder

Murder is murder. It doesn't matter that two are Jews and two are Palestinians. I'm sorry but it doesn't make a difference if one murder is sanctioned by the state and justified by the hate of any one group or another sanctified by conscience. Self defense doesn't extend infinitely out from your wellbeing simply because of your beliefs. I don't believe that the Ten Commandments or the bill of rights came from the mind of God or Man, they came out of centuries and millennia of human experience and since we're a dual nature beast (good along with the bad), both the Ten Commandments and the bill of rights can be and have been commandeered by the greedy and vengeful. It won't last forever but it starts another cycle of violence (of those who have had what's theirs taken) and vengeance (from those who have been victims). Donald trump will die and because those who follow him will die as well, like anyone who follows ignorance blindly, and just like those who ...

What's that, you say? Record deficit!

Glory Be, Hallelujah, So Be It

Since Harvard and everybody else is suing trump, I'm wondering who's doling out the lawsuit awards, trump or the american people? I'm also wondering why nobody but me recognizes mental illness as the main personality trait of our government. What concerns me is it seems to be catching. People such as marco Rubio or J D Vance or Mike Johnson (and I could name many More but won't, you know who they are) used to be just political assholes but give an asshole *and a boy* power and suddenly they don't make any sense at all, just like the cult leader they follow. It's not a matter of the emperor wearing no clothes though he would probably prefer it that way, but is the emperor a complete assimilation of nero-like and a number of other wild-eyed greek, roman, and/or israeli/ romanian dark cave dwellers fiddling, burning and bloodying the world with their tongue in cheek. Everytime I see Netanyahu he seems to have a smirk on his face. I think he sees the humor and iron...

God Works in Strange Ways

The war of words has been renewed. Who got it wrong, who got it right? Got us arguing again amongst ourselves ( or is anybody really   listening besides them that are paid to argue ? ) between the CIA and the NSA . All I can say is god works in strange ways and sometimes gives the edge to the fascist. Did God produce Hitler (don't you get tired hearing about him) to give the Jews a wakeup call? Go thou and get the sacred land and I'll make sure though there will be travails but not much more than that. I imagine god saying that to Netanyahu's dad.. But nothing can be perfect in an imperfect world.   By the way, I'm reading about the cosmos as interpreted by Stephen hawking. he consistently reiterates the fact that all our beliefs, scientific and spiritual are prodded along with the support of one or the other for instance when the Catholic Church finally came out of the science closet and supports the Big bang theory, saying it does coincide with the Bible rend...

The Railroad Boys Share a Trailer

Here's a story from my most recent short book- I've Been Working On the Railroad, All the Live Long day Poetry, Prose, and Stories .  You can get the whole 76-page book on Amazon, and although Amazon isn't on my favorite corporation list like it might be on yours, I try to believe I'm like most people and know Amazon, like all the other billionaire owned corporations are doing a hellava lot more damage and mischief than providing a service people generally like. I also know most people plug their noses and get things delivered. So, if you like the story, there's more and I get approx. $3.50 a book, so you can see I'm not expecting much nor getting rich off that. At least that's what's happened so far. (Oh, by the way, there is profanity, and some political incorrectness because thats the way it is in real life, or even in made up life, so if it might bother you, exercise your freedom to decide on your own to continue. There's way too much tattle tai...

The Age of the Gizmo

Technology The age of the gizmo. That starts in the dirt of many nations where children, men, and women scrounge for cobalt, titanium, gold, diamonds and other precious resources, which will be the beginnings of the  The Gizmo connected to the whatchamacallit, inserted into the thingamachig, which when complete, goes to peoria to be hooked up to the gadget, which came from a factory in hoboken, welded to a dogeared sheet, attached via remote control ai to a chip, manufactured in silicon valley, configured and detoxified by a technician in reno nevada, driven to las vegas, stored until further use in a secret facility to be shipped to one of americas proxy nations, usually in the form of a weaponized explosive device. Here's to all the men and women so far detached from what they do, congratulations, you have just built a weapon which will eventually be used to kill, maim, and destroy human flesh or maybe the man, woman, or child who dug in the dirt for a dream of finding the...

FISA and self-serve arrest and deportation

(This is something old but since it goes to 2026, it is the future. Also, an example of how democrats and republicans cooperate to make sure nothing ever really changes, but dont take my word for it, check out who voted for this back in 2024)  News shorts Foreign intelligence surveillance act (FISA) which was set to expire april 19, 2024 is extended to 2026. Section 702 allows the government to collect electronic communication of non americans located outside the country without a warrant (which we don't care about right?) however, that sometimes results in collection of data on actual, real americans who may have accidentally or unknowingly brushed up against some un/non american being surveilled. Now being the skeptic i be, I'm wondering why those countries which are having citizens being spied on by the us aren't speaking up or don't care. So, for those who might consider the original FISA act disquieting and its extension in a similar light might be confused though ...

Where should we stand?

If we say war is never justified in a truly humanitarian world where every human being is no more no less valued than any other, then we are on the side of history that's aligned with all the humanitarian, social justice ideals ever thought or believed. That puts us in the bullseye of the rest who control try to control us as well as control all the reasons for war, capitalism, and fascism. Israel along with its torturing ally, the united states, has redefined warfare in the past seven decades. The imperial arm of the us over the decades by cia sponsored guerrilla operations throughout the world, the weaponization of "friendly" terrorists (such as al queda, taliban, shite, shia) in order to further worldwide resistance to any other national aggression, and the state authorized development of torture and black sites to coerce information.  The weaponization of allies has now become an outed foreign policy supported by nearly all politicians, as well as citizens. Progress...

World War Three?? Are We there yet?

Can I believe What I’m Seeing? It appears to me What I’m seeing Is world war three.   It’s not the nuclear holocaust I was taught to believe Nor the conflict between superpowers it was meant to be I was never taught how many nations must be fighting, If This is to be World War three But I think if I count the mere conflicts between sects, religions, politics, The sanctioned, the regime changes, the no fly zones, plus  the rock throwers vs the police onslaughts The ancient run-down armies of dictators vs the stealth technologies, The economic principals of the greedy vs the middle class, Fought on the streets, The nations that step aside, the defined dictators who are foes, The undefined dictators who don’t need to go, According to the principals of choosing sides.   All this I can finally see Must be World War three. Not up there somewhere in the future, But finally, here. Not the holocaust so not a new day of resurrection,...

All He Wanted...

You can talk all you want about the glories of war, but you have to go to Washington d.c. and look at the wall and cemeteries there to see who died and the price one has to pay. It’s true dead men tell no tales we need to keep, for those who sacrifice for the sham of artifice and lie, we can only weep. Their woes are imprisoned in the unbeating hearts of other men who live on without him, who gild this dirty history, like a secret society, sworn to never reveal what we already know, they glean their riches from young men’s dreams. And young women’s souls. All he ever wanted was to be a good, hard-working auto mechanic. To live out his simple dream in the landscape of milk and honey. He could have done that in any country on earth, yet his call to duty was framed in a false glory of a made-up story, his martyrdom already guaranteed as he lay far away in the mud, in a valley of green, a bloody battlefield in a place he never would have imagined he’d be, had he lived and die...

Failure and Renovation is the Name of the Game

Every country, at some point, which nurtures and/or tolerates hate for the sake of it’s own security will eventually be unable to control it over time and, as we always are used to saying, it always comes back and bites them in the ass. Of course, that’s not enough to know to keep revolutionaries of all stripes from acting up, usually too little too late, because change is Time, and a scientific expression of ennui and obsolescence, for it is, unfortunately, the nature of Man (swallow that as best you can) to be both good and bad, usually at the same time. Good and bad is a relative term, invented by the first precursors to the bilateral nature of the world, religions. All religions and beliefs, with the possible exception of Buddhism and Marxism and other similar, more secular, spiritual beliefs which say Man must deal with unhappiness or oppression by different means other than focusing on sin, punishment, and retribution.   It might be better to say, Man is a ...

The War of Fears

The war of fears lasted forever, Under different names, different decades, Different generations, different enemies, different presidents, Different strategies, different technology. But it was the same war, it is the same war Remembering over seventy years ago We were hiding under school desks, Building underground shelters, Hating communists, hating immigrants Though we had no idea who or what they were, They were out to get us, they wanted what we didn't have But thought we could dream it, make it real if we didn't have them Breathing down our necks They had no faces, like zombies they were always coming, Then the war spilled from our homes and tv sets over to east asia, middle east, far east, near  East and eden east. All i saw then was myself fighting myself, As one who sees the self,  Couldn't see others other than myself. but others saw others and apparently could kill them as others Could kill them without killing themselves, As others who kill others see themselves...
