Capitalism and the prophet motive part 1

Capitalism and the prophet motive part 1

The prophet motive.

Capitalism usurped the work,

Religion captured the communal soul.

The communal nature of the contribution of work and the social nature of humans was slowly bent and warped by the authoritarian personalities who atomized (individualized) and restructured the essence of communal living, which is the most natural form of human beings' social behavior. For the most part, the structure remains the same except, and it is a big exception, now all those who have power (authority) over us are totally made-up personages and figures, total authority based, not on respect and ability and desire to serve community, but reliant on the contrived legitimacy of enforced obedience from even more distant and disinterested authorities. Total Strangers, except for whatever knowledge they want us to have about them.

I can use the catholic church as my example because im not an expert in the rise of capitalism or the prophet motivation in other cultures, such as in africa or the other non-non western hemispheres. I can infer though, that how ancient civilizations elsewhere structured their large populations pretty much on the same principles of authoritarianism and enforced/forced standards. There is a rule that the more power needed to protection them from the overpowered and exploited, grows exponentially as their power grows, until eventually the social apparatus necessary to stay in power becomes so convoluted as to become unstable. Thus, all civilizations die and/or become transformed and fractured into something else or several something elses.

The small city state kingdoms of a few thousand years ago became part of larger and larger exploitative empires which eventually disintegrated and became smaller entities which grew into other exploitative empires and so on and so on.

The catholic church grew the same way. From small communal enclaves based on faith, throughout the middle east and asia minor-turkey, and mediterranean societies- into a empirical dynasty riding the political and military backs of monarchical authoritarian development of the state, out of more small feudal authoritarian entities, which turned out to be the perfect storm for modern world/industrial and exploitative empires.

Indigenous societies since the emergence of exploitative, colonial and imperial empires, have had no chance to develop their more communal, less authoritarian counterpart to empire. Since it is the main aim of these capital-oriented ultra, non-spiritual religions to transform indigenous social, communal societies into some sort of slave/working/consumer populations which have no real power nor influence over their captors.

I call these capital-oriented religions because capitalism itself is a magical belief in the use of an abstract ideal, like god is, in order to breed, socialize, and maintain a populations ill- illusion by promising an earthly paradise and rewards before the heaven bound eternal life one promised by spiritual types of religions.

If you think about it, none of the tropes fostered under capitalism are true, have never been proven true, nor have they proved to be better than everything else.

In fact, the only thing capital and the prophet motive, which is capital's precursor and base ideal, has shown to the world, is the basis for human traits such as selfishness, disorder, dysfunction, and possibly the worst, a direct cause of inhumanity to humanity. The thinking in the Declaration of Independence and other so called 'liberation manifestos" kicked off the Individualist movement where individuals, like corporations later, have free rein over the social cohesion and community derived from communal/communistic/co-operative.

What it boils down to is the work, who does it and in what way does it make everything go round?

Our enemies have made everything so abstract, its hard to tell up from down but we have to keep trying, don't we?

More on this later.

Socialism

Socialism

Don't we know yet that power corrupts, absolutely corrupts.

Social security. If there is anything that drives capitalists, even liberal capitalists crazy is a pool of money just sitting there in banks and not being used. Thats why since banks were invented, paying a small amount of interest provides all the incentive for the account holder to give power to the bank for every cent to invest, and loan out to others, at much higher interest than what the original account generates. Thats the base for capitalism. Since those early days of banks and loans, indebtedness is the main outcome for those of us at the bottom of the money food chain.

So, you can imagine when the government sponsors a major socialist program such as social security the capitalists are slobbering with envy and avarice.

Note the slave labor of children, new york times and truthout. Very disappointing amy, juan, hannah drier, chen.

Whose profiting? No questions about wages, no questions about child abuse. And solutions? Pour more government into inquiry, a government that really doesn't have the resources, except plenty of empty gestures. America always pretends it has plenty but operates on scarcity. Says we need change in immigration law, when there hasn't been significant progress on any immigrant change for decades. The only change has been negative, i.e. Trumps anti- immigration policies which have not been rescinded by biden administration. For biden admin to announce more scrutiny for what can be considered international law in exploiting not only children but the worldwide denial of movements around the world for human beings to seek safety, security, and survival.

The system that all the major powers have instituted around the globe are completely contrary to the natural evolution of our humanity. It is based on a planned scarcity. They say there's not enough money for this or that, yet america pours sinful amounts of money into weapons technology, weapons use, weapons sales, weapons destruction and war. Anywhere in the world, the us will go, if it isn't already there, to prop up tyrants, dictators, fascist governments, calling it building democracy.

America doesn't know what democracy is, believe me america, you don't know democracy.

Note: there is only one reason why the right wing, fascist israeli attacks against palestinians is being ignored by the us and western powers is that there is a secret, planned war against russia or china, which will once again cleanse us, our public memory of any atrocity in lieu of nationalist fervor.

Unfortunately, the next war won't prove whose rightt or wrong any more than all the others because the principals behind it will not be any different than every last one america has involved itself in, going back to the revolutionary war.

The revolutionary war knocked out a king but not the kings' men in business. The civil war didn't kill slavery nor the race theory behind it. The Small wars with spain, england only established america as imperial, colonial, and supercilious. World war one didn't stop germany and neither did world war 2. It only produced the nuclear cold war, the semi-proxy wars in southeast asia, central america, and africa, iraq, afghanistan moving rapidly on to the full proxy war in ukraine and proxy genocide in Gaza.

The standoff, the line in the sand, the showdown, high noon. It's one big, centuries old heroic blowhard feud and folly between those who haves us and those that wants us, while most of us, watch from the balconies and crowded aisles until our name is called to come out and take on the apocalypse that's meant for us.

-FISA-Part 1

Foreign intelligence surveillance act which was set to expire april 19 is extended to 2026.

Section 702 allows the government to collect electronic communication of non americans located outside the country without a warrant (which we dont care about right?) however that sometimes results in collection of data on actual, real americans who may have accidenatally or unknowingly brushed up against some un/non american being surveilled.

Now being the skeptic i be, im wondering why those countries which are having citizens being spied on by the us arent speaking up or dont care.

So, for those who might consider the original FISA act disquieting and its extension in a similar light might be confused though by its bi partisan support but by donald trump's edict to " kill fisa".

"What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive." Sir walter scott. 1808 scotts play. Marmion: A Tale of Flodden Field

Fisa passed, fastrak is being expanded. It's interesting that our cars are going to be, if they arent now, the main tracking device for law enforcement.

Those who have driven in parts of California have a right to be amazed that by simply crossing a bridge, along with thousands of other cars, automatically will generate a bill for the toll, sent to the registered address of the car. You also get a photo which usually fuzzy and out of focus will show your car crossing that electronic beam.

When i was younger, before fastrak but after the implementation of toll bridges, whenever i didnt have cash (but gas was cheap), i'd try to find the non-toll path from one side of the bay area to the other. If worse came to worse though, the last alternative was to stop at the manned toll booth office located at the bridge, where you could declare your poverty and  and pay by card, or if extreme poverty, have a bill sent to you.

Now, of course, having the opportunity to either talk face to face or by phone any representative of any entitled service or expected change has gone the way of the dinosaur.

It won't be long now before we receive a warrant for our arrest and a request to go to your nearest police station, turn yourself in, bring your attorney if you have one, and the justice system will go into effect.

If you are going to run, now would be the time to do it because the knock on your door will be coming and resisting arrest will be your new offense. Police will have carte blanche, as usual, once they have to play an up-close personal role in trying to get you to court.

The past doesnt last

The past doesnt last,

When tomorrow comes, today becomes yesterday's time

It can't be a political choice to respect human rights.

Greta Thunberg

Free will and political choices. The human mind is a simple one.

Either it is or it isnt. Is it or isnt it?

Dont hold your nose and vote for biden. If youre going to have such a disrespect for yourself and the process, better to just Do it the old way, raise your arms to the sky and pray, let their god sort it out, then prepare yourself for whatever comes along, which is what we have to do anyway.

30 years from the rwandan genocide that wasnt declared genocide until it was over and bill clinton finally called it genocide. Will biden realize israel is not the same israel of the david vs arab goliath of 1967?

The age of heroes is over, thank god for that. Put all the superheroes weapons behind, the good intentions, the gestures of faith, hope and charity beneath you, the sacrifices for nothing believers in Christian love, put all that unnecessary rubble from your mind, and build a new empire on used tires, toxic plastic from the sea, and all the insane ideas of those who say they're doing it for us, as high as high they can be.

We'll all be scrounging through our civilization's unusable rubble. And believe me it's not all outside our head. We are made to be obsolete and yet, still remain toxic long after our bones are ash and ground glass.

AI is not your friend, your beautiful metallic smart lover, nor your smart slave. It is an "Artificial" intelligence just like it is named. What comes out is what goes in and if you think thats different than the intelligence you possess, then you're on the right track.

There are only a few questions that AI needs to answer in order to be considered safe for human consumption.

  1. Will they eventually fall in love?
  2. Will it be good to starve thousands of people in order to live free?
  3. Are human rights a political option?
  4. Is Pres Biden's debt relief plan a plea for votes?

America's Frankenstein

We believe that the futuRe is connected to sci-fi, but in reality, it’s a real frankensteinian type monster created by greed, cynicism and unimaginable profit motive from a past that always infects the future.

As a literate person, i recognize that what america churns out as historical pablum for not only most common people to consume and regurgitate but for its intellectuals it is regurgitated word cud, where one thing changes form but not content.

Take the classic novel, frankenstein, written by mary shelley on a holiday lark. A good representation of 19th century ideas of socialistic/capitalistic struggles of the period.

Believe me, it is not a monster story as hollywood would have us believe. It is meant as a metaphorical story of an uncontrolled amalgamation of unfettered capital (money) and the way it can runs amok, if left to its own devices. Not much more complicated than that. There is only value based on a dollar, and everything from human beings to the price of skins, from eggs to the beautiful scene in a Monet.

Frankenstein starts as a metaphor for all the control freaks, whether it be individuals or nations, who turn normal social constructs developed over milleniums into hierarchical systems of authority. The profiteers control over such basic social institutions as education, economics, politics, and humanitarian and international social justice systems are literally turned over to the profit motive  monster unleashed among the society and everyone eventually forgets who made the thing that way, is it the way things have to be, or who is wanting to take responsibility for it.

Since the novel is an archetype, that is, represents a possible universal trait, it can be applied to universal situations.

Trump is a 77-year-old, white (very white, if you know what i mean?) wealthy, a natural born hater of mankind, greedy, manipulative, a sexual abuser, a leader of vigilantes, plus, one of the most uneducated men I’ve ever seen in public life.

Biden is an 81 year old white, an apologist for capitalism, a spokesperson for the morbid status quo, an unimaginative personality, slowed by age, susceptible to neo-fascist compromises, has no ideas for the future (shortsighted- a very common trait among politicians), and is totally unaware of how he looks to the public-fragile, slow, ready to go away

They are both Men, neo-fascist capitalist, supportive of the use of non-democratic power. Presidential exceptionalism in a tri-institutionalized, supposed balance of power democracy.

In America, the use of unregulated power is the modern hallmark of the type of undemocratic system we are currently living in. Since the country is divided, possibly irreparably, the potential for the type of change necessary to not only undue the miserable historical legacy of slavery, greed, and international chaos created by proxy war, imperialism, and threats of nuclear annihilation.

Our sole institutions of power management are no longer acceptable nor approved by the public, no longer representative because of decades of gerrymandering, corruption, greed and political divisions based on antiquated ideas about political parties and representation.

With that, the president has wielded his own version of power based on the idea that they represent the one institution above the ones stagnated by abuse- the military and since 9/11, the secret anti-terrorism (euphemism for anti- change) sub-institutions of national security, cia, fbi)

The political fight here has always been between the ideas of socialism and capitalism. Its that simple. Government control of the publics resources or the government financing of private industry. This new administration, while abhorring the federal government, isn’t stupid, understanding that the federal government is where the money is. We’ve come full circle. Taxation without representation.

In every recession, industry crashes caused by the relaxed regulation government gave to private industry, private industry came out better off and the public came out worse.

All of this is the parts thrown together over the centuries and most recent decades to make the monster we see before us.

The language

The language

In the modern world, and to me that means the world as formed from the rise of western european and us into dominance.

Does a man who commits rape get to define "rape?". Does a nation get to define genocide? Does a dictator get to define freedom? If not, then why is there no certain definitions.

The israel hamas war has once again demonstrated that outside the actual physical atrocity of war is the war of words.

Language is all we have as humans to use in explaining our actions, and those explanations are weighed against what we describe as the truth, and full circle jerk fashion, that truth is the judicious dissection of the language compared to what happened according to witnesses and what they have to say about it. Truth no longer comes from the reliance of a persons own conscience. The saying that there are no guilty people in prison or there is no violence in war outside of self defense.

America committed atrocities and genocide in america, vietnam, iraq, afghanistan and accepted history in america is the total denial of any of it. Or, historians and intellectuals say, " "It is done, get over it."

It is done. Gaza is destroyed. To toy with the idea that this destruction of the cultural, religious, and political is redeemable is despicable. According to john kirby, spokesperson for the state dept, states emphaically that "to date (a/o april 2, 2024) there have been no israeli incidents that have violated international humanitarian law."

In my mind, when i see spokespeople like him and all the spokespeople, i imagine someone who either has a gun at his back or someone who is pointing a gun at me.

The question becomes what and who are they afraid of or what and who do they want us to be afraid of?
