In spite of the dangers we face today, we are left with liberalized, soft solutions, standing on principle, but falling to almost unimaginable violence, we've seen it all before. We worship fallen heroes but not what they fell for.

Things are no different or worse today. The young would be better served if they'd just look at history rather than their own limited experience.
We, in the sixties, didn't discover the real America, we weren't Columbus, thinking no one had been here before, if you don't count the heathens. Plenty of us sapiens warned us, apparently to no avail. Gaza, in fifty years will be nothing but a placard, like "Here lies humanity."
