The republican party is already killing itself but will take anyone fool enough to believe in them along with it. There is no leadership there in either party. In spite of the dangers we face today, we are left with liberalized, soft solutions, standing on principle, but falling to almost unimaginable violence, we've seen it all before. We worship fallen heroes but not what they fell for.

It wasn't nixon who developed the war in Vietnam. It was democrats in the south who maintained apartheid. It was the fbi who routinely murdered Black Panthers and other dissidents. It was the governments of both parties that lied in order to make war.
Things are no different or worse today. The young would be better served if they'd just look at history rather than their own limited experience.
We, in the sixties, didn't discover the real America, we weren't Columbus, thinking no one had been here before, if you don't count the heathens. Plenty of us sapiens warned us, apparently to no avail. Gaza, in fifty years will be nothing but a placard, like "Here lies humanity."
