Journey (to the past)

(evidently this was written back when trump was president the first time. Gee, i thought he was a dictator then. But actually I've believed america has always been susceptible to dictatorship instead of not. does that make me smart? everyday now he proves me right, about himself and about america. americans are chum. trump is a lumbering dinosaur

journey

I'm going somewhere. don't ask me why? don't ask me where. I said somewhere. every day I get a little closer, I can feel it. there are days when I really want to just get there and see if I can figure out why I came in the first place. other days I try and walk backwards everywhere I go because I'm pretty sure I don't want to get where I'm thinking I might be going.

what will happen when I get there? will my journey end, no more destinations? will that be the end of days, my days as a traveler?

or will there be two thousand six hundred forty-nine more days of absolutely waiting around for something bad to happen, somewhere else to catch my interest.

Hope, I can only hope that someday the glorification of all our wars are toppled like the confederate soldier statues of the civil war, a misnomer if there ever was one, at which time we'll all have to admit that dying in vain is the price we pay for the opportunity of living out our delusions of

honor, patriotism, nation loving, fearin the day the mundane and the profane live side by side, on top of each other, and where each demands its moment, though it seems each time, they never cancel each other out. are all human traits not to hold up high but keep at arms length.

Trump, the Great Uniter

It's wonderful that Trump has made us all realize that the country is really better than what we thought. The military, the corporations, the FBI, the CIA, even the Republicans are all united in fighting hate, fighting Russia, fighting ISIS, fighting inequality, and making sure America spends every cent to protect and serve the rich and powerful.

So, my question is what the hell has been happening the last seventy years? Seventy years because that's all I've been alive but you can extend it to two hundred years, historically speaking. We finally have a president, a straw dog president.

Then Hilary writes her book and they, they being the sour progressives, that still think she should be president rather than just a footnote in history.

She has every right to say what she feels yeah, but but why wait until the monster is in the White House before getting all introspective. I don't really get the true believers thinking she has suffered at the hands of the republicans. For fucks sake everybody who believes that has only suffered from the damnation of the failed ambitious. The most qualified failure in the history of presidential electoral politics.

With our military budget there will never be health care for all, never be enough money for infrastructure, never be enough money for anything. We now have a military dictatorship based on a theory that we are under a threat. This theory is as archaic and old method of keeping a population in fear. It was used by Hitler, Russia, North Korea and on and on.

Shit or go blind.

We don't know whether or not to go backwards and forwards at the same time. The future, scimitar or retreating from progress because it's like a herd of mastodons going over the cliff.

Rather than a nuclear free world it looks as if we'd be nuclear radiated. I guess there's a difference.
