Quiet Piggy!
Quiet Piggy!
We've left the Orwellian 1984. Doesn't that seem so quaint now? We know Ronald Reagan wasn't a fascist., don't we? We didn't even know what fascism was back then except something that democracy, freedom, and the American way defeated back in the day (like 1945). So let's move on to Alduous Huxley and the Dr Doolittle like Animal Farm, or maybe just Animal House.
Quiet Piggy! The shot heard round the world. Anyone who is still listening to the fox in the henhouse, the wolf at the door, the snake in the grass, the pig in a poke, the chicken littles, the eggs in one basket fools, should suffer mightily in their own minds.
There are hundreds of people in alternative media, like u-tube, beating the drums of repetition. The same goes for the pulpit harangues, the White House syncophants, the congressional co-conspirators, and media embellishers. Yet, no one can answer whether or not America will go to war with Venezuela, build casinos in Gaza, turn Ukraine into the divided nation it's always wanted to be, nor make anyone from the Epstein files, international criminal court genocide list, obscurantists politicians, corrupt corporatists etc etc be brought to justice.
Piggy. I heard one podcaster mention that the term piggy was an old term related to mob talk. I was curious so I looked it up in my Dictionary of American Slang. The first "pig" meaning was reference to a cop. (1848). An informer, a stool pigeon.
But around 1930, gangster days, pig referred "to a girl or woman having a sloppy appearance; a girl or woman with "sloppy" morals; a passionate or promiscuous woman; or, any girl or woman. Further up the alphabetical food chain was "pig meat", a girl or woman, esp an inexperienced but sexually willing girl or old promiscuous woman."
Since I don't believe Trump even knows how to read or write a coherent sentence or develop a intelligent paragraph, much like the proverbial infinite number of monkeys who will type away, I doubt he came up with the "piggy" insult on his own, I assume it has something to do with his mentorship under the gangster lawyer, Roy Cohn, and his similarly organized crime father. And later, somewhere hidden in the Epstein files, is probably him saying it to some girl.
In a matter of speaking, it was a Freudian slip but it came out as easily as it does him calling anyone "stupid."
Trump is nothing new, except in the sense, he's broken some sort of presidential code of ethics by being a true sociopath/ narcissist. Interestingly, Americans like to believe that the common man is a hero if he can sort of talk the talk ( like rebelling against authority, except his own). His people love the way he bullies those who he doesn't like, usually referencing prejudice ( that's "prejudge", man). Taking anyone down a notch is always a good American defense in any argument.
But, Trump is essentially no different than any of the other presidents, kings, dictators of Anytime in history. The dilemna of the people has always been the same. Remember the Roman coliseum was filled to capacity to watch slaves, christians, criminals, political opponents get eaten by lions, gored by bulls, stabbed by gladiators and it can be said, the sand ran red with blood at these and other types of similar spectacles presented by historical figures, whether it be Thermopylae, the Coliseum, wounded knee, Hiroshima, dachau and today, with the use of technological "advancements" we can kill and drive millions from their homes, in much larger portions than ever before. Wonderful progress.
Humans have not advanced any hope for a world not based on money, trade, economic competitions, one iota.
All the worlds problems in the civilized world, at least, are based on the disparity between those who have wealth (money) and those who have to daily earn money by selling themselves, their resources, their labor to those who control the ability to survive through laws, a priori assumptions and outright power by determining who pays, how much, who borrows, who survives.
In fact, because we've converted just about all technological change into making sure unnatural power institutions stay that way. It's in our heads. We are that way, we say to ourselves. We are greedy, we are cruel, god made us this way or the devil made us do it.
And that's why, despite current anthropological prognostications, we will become extinct, the first animal to consciously bring about its own demise.
It won't be as dystopian an end as some would say because we can't see it's already about as dystopian as it can get. We don't have to be going around in white robes, with chips embedded in our heads, everyone saying yes master, no right to defend ourselves, long live the king because all we need to do is not do anything, which is what we're always doing anyway.
If everyone thinks they're free, then nobody probably is. Or nobody is going to be.
In fact, Elon musk is saying that in twenty years no one will have to work. Does anyone have any questions? With that much freedom in everyone's hands, the military arm of the government is going to be the primary employer, because I doubt not working means there isn't going to be taxes or tithing to these new gods. I just hope they aren't counting on all these assholes billionaires living forever because, if nothing else, the boredom and constraints are going to be insufferable.
