The Xstein Files

It's apparent that we know just about all we're going to know about the sex trafficking cabal the XStein files are. We already know and have known most of the personages contained in them but that's as far as it goes. The buck stops here where names will not go down in flames, even while more egregious crimes, though of a different sort, are being committed right under our noses.

Oh, we all have alot to be guilty of. The age-old question of who is more responsible for any nation's crimes, the actual authorities who command the powers, like necromancers, over the multitude of victims or those who by passivity, fear, or approval do nothing or not enough to stop the genocide, war, atrocity, and cruelty of their leaders.

Yes, it's hard because we are all essentially imprisoned in our social upbringing, even the poor, the criminal, and the ones most affected by it all. In the days of Frankenstein's Monster, people gathered up their pitchforks, their torches, ready to burn whatever evil they found but even though now people have guns to protect themselves, if they do any murder at all, it's never, or rarely toward those who make them angry and confused but some innocent bystanders or family or co-workers usually take the fall.

Every now and then, such as recently, we see a rash of maniacal, insane murders but no assassinations. We're all locked in to the TV which puts the people who are central to our problems right in our homes and spaces, like shoving it in our faces about how defenseless we are.

The XStein files are a case in point. We've known everything there is to know about these sex traffickers and their clients who coerced, victimized by rape, ruined lives, enticed by money and slimy power, sex based debasement, and nothing happened then, and nothing will happen now. Trump is president for more than three more years and this is not going to take him away from that. After that, he will take his new money he will rip off from the american treasury and settle on some, in some palatial, gold toileted island/mansion while we're all left morally bankrupt and emotionally distraught.

Ironically, god nor His predecessors, politicians and leaders of the free and not so free world, will not be punished for their wickedness.

What is to be done?

What is to be done?
Evil must run its course because there is no moral imperative or cure. Evil is our problem. It depends on and is composed of all that humans fear and don't understand and of course, leads into all religions, or national ideals (which have taken over the duties of religion in the modern world).
Both religion and its progeny, nationalism or dedication to idealistic democratic or political institutional loyalty, which have both demonstrated throughout history they're incapable of moving human imagination beyond the confines of a limited physical and spiritual existence.
There is something within us that rebels and also acquiesces to "evils' charms.
Every nation and every religion becomes at once a liberator and an oppressor, but neither nation nor religion can act in accordance with their own principles, ideals, or, as in the case of religion, beliefs. Mainly because both religion and nationalism rely on beliefs that are anti-thetical to real universal truths or constructs, and I mean universal like in universe, the one thing we know so little about because we believe we're the best the universe has to offer, that the whole damn thing is made for us, and there's no need to explore any further.
I read that the two Voyagers that have been stretching out almost to the edge of our solar system for decades now have reached what scientists think is a plasma like cloud surrounding our solar system, a possible "wall" to further exploration. Maybe we can draw on our current "wall" experts to put their heads together so we can breach it, and continue our migratory illusions.
If we really wanted to slow immigration, we might quit propagating the worldwide illusion that America has something different to offer other than the same o, same o conflicts, murders, and , most importantly, values of all the dictatorial and oppressive environments everyone comes from.
Migration is as natural and commonplace as any natural law. The fact some sort of "ownership" makes it easier for anyone in any dictatorship doesn't make it something other than migration. How many people in the various middle classes of all the so called civilized nations move to other homes, cities, jobs? All of them. The fact capitalistic economics demands and depends on migration, and that demand and dependence has gotten worse over the decades since the capitalized, consumer revolution took place right under our noses, though we've known or smelled that hidden corpse of corruption for awhile, though not recognizing it for what it is for a long time now.
Actually, we've never gotten out of the medieval ages when it comes to the natural, social relationships based on work and authority, like who tells us not only what to do, but, more importantly, what needs to be done. If someone tells us we need to build another huge monstrous rocket to the moon, those who have the ability set right to it. Money does the talk. People who think they need jobs, listen. No one asks nor rejects on the principle of asking, what in the fuck is that for? How does anything done actually make sense within the social order except create survival for some and starvation for others because we've left the economic realm of equilibrium. Many are left on the brink of a built in genocide, starvation, poverty circle without it having anything to do with future progress.
In fact, we no longer know what progress is. For some it is going backwards to a time they didn't understand and for others it's going forward to something that's only imaginary and magical thinking.
We've all lost touch with each other because we've demanded more than what we need and now because of that, we've created a need that surpasses what can be met.
All this means is its real survival of the fittest and of the neediest, the most selfish, and the most individualist, and, it looks like, the meanest.
In the Middle Ages, the church ruled the rulers, but this was a universal human construct, whether it be the Catholic Church, Islam, African shamans, tribal migratory invaders, and over here in the Western Hemisphere, Aztec and like minded civilization's.
Then, as history shows us, the religions and their cohort armies battled it out over the world's population's body counts, somewhat peaceful coexistence. Most people got along in small communities everywhere because of each person's contributions and neighborliness. Then the armies of religions came and guess what? Whoever was in charge started making the rules. Who was in, who was out. Who worked, who lived, who died. Then when Charlemagne changed, when the Spanish came, the Portuguese reigned, the English sailed the seven seas, nations rose to take the place of their gods who seemed to be passive and unconcerned about right and wrong ( according to the new gods) became the new lords and masters of what was left of good will and coexistence.
Slaughter and gold is all that is left, except the massive amounts of stupidity and selfishness, which can't be measured except in terms of sadness or hopelessness.
Believe me, there's not a dimes worth of difference between the old shamans, Kings, queens, parliamentarians, congresses, presidents, premiers, and dictators of the past, present and it won't get any better in the future until we, the so called people change into vampires rather than remain leeches, riding the back of sharks and swampland dwellers.
Yes, I know, blood will still be involved.

Introduction

Yesterday was the same as the day before and tomorrow is the same as yesterday. Today is different. And only until tomorrow.

Which is the same as today.

Caveat emptor

Sapiens, A Book

Morality, right and wrong doesn’t have a chance anymore.

Sapiens. The advance of sapiens through time has shown we have not only bartered away what we have made, believed, or borrowed from nature but we have frittered away the codes which we live by. We’ve been boiled down and rendered (in fat) into whatever aggregation of moral codes, traditions, laws, rules, standards by whatever dominant society in which we live, none of which are much more than a generation old and none of which are so viable today that almost any advance of technological, scientific inventions and experiments won’t further degrade them, or at least, if degrade is too harsh a word, won’t further negatively change what has lasted to this point, reverting any truths into obsolescence.

When primitive people with limited technologies walked the earth, stone tools proved durable and worth the tedious but hard work put into creating them. On the other hand, iron and steel become rusty and useless in less than a lifetime.

Trump is an example of this general rule. When democrats, who currently represent  impeachment standards, cannot accept certain behaviors in a president ( history notwithstanding) and have to decide if what Trump does is constitutionally correct, are themselves hard pressed to differentiate between what they and other politicians have, over time, made the “new normal”. All politicians by sacrificing certain powers ascribed to them by the constitution in order to “give” more power to the president of their political party have now reaped what they’ve sown.  They have to all ask themselves, what presidential behaviors (or powers) truly transcend  rational and morally acceptable behaviors, which even anybody's god would find objectionable, puts them in a divided state that the general public is left completely divided with no center of gravity and a confused belief in a system we’ve been taught to always exonerate at the highest levels of our magical world.

Laws are remnants from an old moral code placed against an economic, scientific reality of the present added to by what the powerful (politics, faith, and empire) have decided ( in the loosest of terms) what will be the Future. In other words, we’re all socialized to try and live a code of conduct that is not for everyone because it is based on historical precedents that have been obsolete almost from the time of their inception. Notions such as justice for all, equality for all, equal opportunity for all have always ignored the very conditions upon which reality exists. That is, justice, equality, opportunity are not real things, merely ideals, and they are as widely varied as the differences between capitalism and communism or buddhism and catholics which in themselves are all merely ideals as well.

No ideal is an island. Or a place. Or a job. Or a way of life. We can raise our children like we were raised, thinking that has something to do with how pleased we may be with our lives right now, and our children may have completely different lives. Ideals are not formulas, enchantments, or rituals, though we treat them as such.

That’s the problem. Humans suckle their children on the tit of moral codes and standards of conduct for a modern society which has been built on so called traditional and mostly, amorphous, senseless codes of conduct, developed over  more than a century of scientific, technological, and historical advancement ( call it progress if you want), plus a lack of  differentiation between what’s right and wrong, illusionary belief, and an erroneous concept about what “reality” really is. Reality being the actual rules of behavior that govern us through economic, nationalist, and world view which we need to survive.

It’s ironic to the nth degree that the amount of attention paid to such valueless principals, such as the stock market, international affairs, gossip and rumors about what other people are doing has reached a pinnacle akin to worship mixed with the usual fear one would expect from bowing down to a god.

When sociologists tell us that for all practical purposes the gods have abandoned us, have no interest in our petty lives, we doubt their premise but it’s better not to put all your ducats in one basket so we have turned (bowed) to our governments and the politicians as we would to priests. There are those who retain power and position to influence those who insist they live by the simple rules of the ten commandments and use prayer to ask for that which only god can give, which is as close as any human gets to the art of magic, ritual, and outright lying can get. Still, we must retain our doubts about one or the other.

There are those of us, in the majority, whatever that means, who try to live according to rules left over from their parents or grandparents or even priest, rabbi, grammar school education and who are actually trying to instill these same values in their children or grandchildren but without acknowledgement of the reality that this methodology of conveying such behavior modification has changed a couple of times since even they were being socialized. The education system no longer differentiates between things in the same way. Schools look like prisons, as do housing projects, cities, all designed for accommodating more and more what? Workers, children, seniors in the most oppressive manner possible. We no longer live, we survive. We no longer trust in the knowledge bestowed by acknowledging Nature, we have been inculcated to believe that the problem is Nature.

For some reason we believe that the problems created by man-made institutions, beliefs, ideals, technology, and governance are better handled than the problems of Nature. It isn’t actually so abstract, we have left Nature behind, the parts we haven’t made a real effort to kill off outright.

California is a good example. In the fifties, California progressives (progressives being those who think about what the future will look like) bought into roads and freeways for people to get around and initially, like all things, it seemed a good idea. Considering that freeways take time to build and migration for that elusive opportunity only takes a minute it wasn’t long, say the time it took for a freeway to be completed, it was already obsolete. Now, once that happened was there a review well, no, because while the one freeway and all its hopes and dreams of a better life was becoming realized, commitments by city and state governments were already buying into the ideal and had more freeways being built, all of which had the same fate, obsolete before complete.

As this was happening, California with its relatively mild weather, its “futuristic” model of living the good life attracted all those who desired the american dream which consisted of those “equalities”, those opportunities, so the engineers, construction firms, the planners, put their heads together and simultaneously along with the freeway people built new cities, new houses, new commercial buildings with the hope that the cities, houses, apartments, buildings would be filled and the ultimate dream eventually have a freeway come, making everything as good as it can get, in their eyes.

The one thing city and state planners didn’t foresee in their dream for creating the “equalities” was the natural world. And here’s the gist, if not the dilemma, of modern man’s plan, nature has always been left out of the planning. Not just nature but space between things. Man has created a forest (some might say a jungle) of human bondage.

Sapiens tells us there are only three things which are responsible for the complete amalgamation of human experience-money, faith, and not least, military might. What is not mentioned is that trickery in a genetic code that somehow takes these three things and seemingly transforms everything into caging the human soul. Now if that isn’t an alien force I don’t know what is. Can we imagine another being, like a god but rather than good or even evil, simply is designed to be a form of parasite with the powers of consciousness manipulation.

I say this because if you ask most people if they like what’s happening around them, questions about infrastructure, clogged freeways, normal difficulties of living which have nothing to do with “natural” but those things manufactured by politicians, faith healers, and engineers. Everywhere around us, despite a hundred years of developing the intransigence we’ve built our belief in, none of the politicians, faith healers, military chiefs, or planners of the future of our security and survival, no one is about to change the direction we’re in.

It’s all magic isn’t it. The magic gene is what unites us but it’s technology that divides us. Our magic cannot influence what the “priests” manufacture for our constant betrayals to nature any more than it keeps the wolves from our campsites. All of our consciousness has been focused on eliminating fear (defined as that which we cannot control and could harm us). We do have a strong sense of survival. That’s in us. Yet, we are defenseless against our own ability to destroy each other and create that very fear in others who eventually not only will defend themselves but will prepare to go on the offensive when the opportunity arises.

Probably the biggest question mark.?

The Futures Past

(Excerpt from the Great American Killoff written in response to school massacre. Needless to say, America and Americans have blood on their hands. Why do we ignore that?)

For example, in the sixties when Medgar Evers, Malcolm x, Martin Luther King, John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy were assassinated and the violent and illegal Cointelpro program was propagated against the black panthers, other black civil rights organizations, and anti-war groups whose members were jailed, scapegoated, and killed without regard to the normal justice system. In addition, the overthrow of democratically elected governments and foreign interventions by the US military contributed to the growing culture of anti-democratic principles abroad and the redefinition of human rights and egalitarian principals here at home. The assassinations were committed by elements not directly connected to the civil rights movement but these assassinations, disruptions and political corruptions were certainly involved in the demise of progress.

Tick tock, tick, tock welcome to the great American kill off

Seven children were killed yesterday in a drone attack by the US Govt upon a wedding party in western Pakistan. There was a seven-month-old baby, as well as three pre-school children, and three 1st graders. Their bodies were mangled beyond recognition, heads torn from their bodies, legs mangled, and chests and stomachs ripped open.
Those children were just as innocent as the child you used as an example and by innocent I mean they had no knowledge of whatever crimes the US Govt believed some adult nearby was accused of, in the same way that children in this country killed by "evil" people have no knowledge of what they did to deserve such a punishment. As long as there is the conundrum of who makes the rationale and who makes the laws that justify murder and who gets to murder without it being called murder then this moral issue like others will always be with us,

It's like carrol o'connor the antagonist in the sitcom all in the family says, I have a way to prevent hijackings..... Let all the passengers on the plane have guns.

(Just like Prez Trump and others suggesting teachers carry guns in the classroom after the massacres at Marjory Steadman, February, 2018)

To SRW

(As I age, those I liked, ran with, respected, loved, felt responsible for start falling by the wayside throughout the decades and, eventually, die, evoking memories, sadness, and reflection. It turns out that retaining or maintaining relationships based on memory is impossible. The same is true of retaining and maintaining bad memories for the sake of reference merely keeps us from progressing. Because I am political, most of my relationships were enhanced by the politics of wherever we found ourselves. The following is one example of a relationship I had at one time in my life.)
To SRW.
I know, it didn't end well. It couldn't have ever ended any other way.
In a way, we could say it didn't even start well,
You pretty fresh from your marriage,
And me still married,
Later, you apologizing to my ex-wife when your consciousness was being raised, and mine was being erased.
But still, even when the worst of times encircle the best of times, I think we changed each other, for better and worse,
Like the war in Vietnam,
The war between the sexes,
The war between black and right.
You died in June of the year of the 2025 plan, two years after the end of roe vs wade, over eighteen months of genocide in Gaza,
I wonder how you saw all that, maybe it was easy, because you might have believed history was on your side, or better, the truth, that men have done all this, with only the women behind the scenes with their rigor and mortis.
I would agree.
And that's where we were then, right in the heart of it all, the fight for our lives.
I often go by the parking lot where the grand house you rented from the church stood, remembering we'd sit out there on the porch, taking in the cool delta breeze on warm summer evenings, we agreed on so much, except maybe where my place was going to be in the new feminist world.
Meals down at the Tea Cup Cafe, still there on 21st.
Me showing up late one night stoned on acid and talked all night long. I don't remember about what.
You'd drive down to Stinson and leave in tears, an hour and a half on the road. I'd hitchhike to Sacramento, we tried to piece it back together, love/hating our way to the new woman, revised man.
Then you were in love with R***, maybe other women, maybe bisexual was the way of the future.
But you were jealous of the red headed woman, and the other women that I went to, like I was jealous of her and your women friends, you all had so much to do and be.
We all thought we were going somewhere, driven by some sort of "progressive" ambition. We dug up history, uncovered nearly all of America's lies and deceits, exposed it to the light but we never built anything nor improved true democracy and equality. Modern times has brought us closer to the destruction of any progressive legacy we may have engendered and our individual successes are not the example of historical success. America is as close to a totalitarian state as it ever has been. This is a nation in which complete and total devisiveness is more reflective of a sociopathic disorder rather than a nation built upon principles of democracy and freedom. It is a nation of individual and national sociopathic personalities. Truelly, a case of moral compass dysfunction.
And what did we uncover? Well, it seems despite the massive exposure of all of America's and the world's tendencies toward unequal, oppressive, economic, imperial, settler focused, and military dominance and totalitarian directed philosophies, our generation started off with the nuclear bomb and is ending with the nuclear bomb and every time we came close to breaking through, armies, courts, militias, economies, dictators, assassins, sociopaths, weak politicians, all contributed us going nowhere or going backward.
And the politicians we debated over, voted for McGovern, Carter, Shirley Chisholm, Eldridge Cleaver, Clinton, Al Gore, Obama, Biden and many others, all turned out to be abstractions and distractions. Where are any of those (living) heroes now? Not a one willing to sacrifice their career nor reputation to lead, or simply cry out for what they must surely see is the decimation of everything they said they believed in.
Over the years I've written several poems/prose about that time and have since, declared History as the nostalgic remembrance of the disappointment of what is thought the Future was going to be.  When it was us being spied upon, arrested, murdered, protesting, we got an end to a war, roe vs wade, civil rights bill, relaxed marijuana laws, and now, it's others who are being spied upon, arrested, murdered, protesting, and the death of roe vs wade, more war than ever before, less equality/justice, more killer drugs/addictions, and a failing democracy/rising totalitarianism. And thats what is called "Making America Great Again."

Coyote Thoughts (2025)

Coyote Thoughts

(I guess this is something I'll always be working on. The nonsense of Eternal Time in a World of Make-Believe Futures)

There is darkness, infinite, though death has overcome me, it does not destroy me, for i cannot be done with, only paralyzed, hugging the dirt, sand, and grit of the earth. Scorpions, beetles, snakes crawl on me, between my withered, sun hardened bones til i emerge with what once i tred upon, free, vowing He has not seen the last of me, subjected to His humiliation, His temporary superiority,

 The Big Dilemma About Paradise

The spirit world never knew about contradictions because up until the water experience It never had any reason to believe that there was a limit to its being. It had always been spirit and there was never anything else. Once it found water’s qualities conducive to expanding It’s experience it wanted more. The Big Contradiction though was that once part of the spirit world captured the physical world of water, it is trapped in Time and cannot go back to being Spirit only, which is always only Now.

 The Big Split

The spirit world divided itself between spirits that want to be a part of the physical earth, thus trapped in Time, Past and Future and a spirit world that can't be a part of Time, to be only Now, only Present. What was once one Spirit becoming two spirits in one spirit world in which one part of the spiritual world was physical, trapped in Time, Past and Future understood it’s nonphysical origins but cannot escape it’s limited and temporary existence while the other spiritual world is content with eternity.

No one can exist in the world of Past and Future Time without giving up Eternity, or Infinity, or Heaven as beyond the dead end of Time

 Time

Whereas the physical world is trapped in Time, the spiritual world isn’t. It is Now and only Now, and the physical world is only Past and Future and has to be temporary.  The Past in the physical world is irretrievable, the Future, unknown is only imaginative.

Addictions like greed, power, superiority or every so called "evil" in the physical world is an attempt to try and satisfy the spirit of Now, which every physical entity craves to satisfy but because Now is non-physical, not temporary, not imaginative, addictions merely become vain attempts to be free from the real, Time entrapped limits imposed on the physical world, of which Mother Earth is the Mistress of Change, the place where extinction is.

All this modern-day nonSense about superpowers, super weapons, all so much thuggery, dinosaur thinking. All modern man did was take brute force to a higher level, that is, if you want to consider going from a spearpoint that can bring down an elephant to a nuclear warhead to take out a city as a higher level.

How do you do it then?

It's simple. Find the chink in armor, the Achilles heel, the weakness, all of which are in the weak psychology of man’s mind, and put your ill will in there, the crevice, crack it wide open.

Can you illustrate?

Take greed, that’s an almost universal One for humanity. What does a man want? Once you find out what a man wants, just make sure he gets more of it than he could ever need or use.

And that’s all it takes?

Yes, for example, let’s say a man wants nothing but oxygen. Everyone can get it, needs it so there’s nothing unnatural to want it nor have it. But then, let’s say, a man says, “i want more of it than the common man, i don't just want what everyone needs, my desires are so much more than ordinary.” All those reasonings men use to convince themselves that whatever they're going to do next, makes perfect sense to them and no one else.

The beginnings of hubris?

Yeah, similar, but once a man says his wants and needs are superior to the natural wants and needs of everyone else then you, as a predator, know you have him. He can be brought to the edge of the sea where he'lł realize that oxygen is bound up with hydrogen to make all that he sees in front of him.

And he'll drown himself getting to it?

Exactly.

Unfortunately, these truths become the ethic of the powerful. Machiavelli understood that. No one probably reads the classics anymore, too busy watching, rather than listening and too busy interacting rather than remembering.

Reagan's Record Deficit (History don't Lie)

If James Capra sees the 1984 US deficit swelling to "200 billion or more" wait til he gets to 2025.

More boring, less war

Gods Little Jokes

Gods Little Jokes
It's interesting that our president represents the real attitudes, beliefs, values of the American public. It seems a good rationale for understanding the misgivings of democrats and other liberals to do more than complain about real policies.
In trumps recent meeting with several small African leaders his purpose seemed to be to trade "aid" for gold, minerals and any other attainable resources.
He actually believes he is not just king of America but king of the world. To me that's what is so amazing. His revolution and believe me brothers and sisters it is a revolution in the making, and even if it never is completed, it will be generations before these values will even begin to disappear. As soon as America became nationalistic, which wasn't to hard to do since other nations have always grown more imperial rather than democratic over time as they became more "supremacist" in their promotion of their religions, races (ethnic makeup), values or principles.
Give a child a toy and it will play, give a child a gun and eventually it will kill someone.
It's as simple as that.
That old saying about "giving a man a fish and he will thank you but teach a man to fish and he will end up fishing for you" or something like that, is applicable.

The Universe

The universe looks pretty good from here. Why do we want to go mess everything up out there too?

We just want to fick everything up. There's already a stratospheric layer of scrap metal and radioactive waste circling above us ready to fall anytime gravity says so.

I know a few artists that would love to turn that into something more akin to art rather than leaving it chicken little artifice.

The sky is falling. Or it will be.

Trump. The Prince. Netanyahu may be the harbingers of evil we've been secretly waiting for but don't recognize until it's too late or all three have that stupid glazed look of ignorance and hate and crooked smiles to boot.

If there's any Jew in America who is still thankful for the 1948 Accords that gave Israel a homeland and the reason to isolate themselves from the outside world with walls, there will be many neo fascists who will shake their hand for lending a helping hand in the biggest suicide mission in history outside of lemming biological tendencies anyway.

If the world isn't going back to a bizarre form of tribalism, I don't know anything.

One other thing. The chemical makeup of crude oil is dinosaur and weeds all melded together in high pressure, a hot chemical soup we run our industry with. Now tell me, would ya. If that isn't a harbinger of things to come given a few million years down the road I don't know what is.

Revolution

I hear there's screaming in the street,

Sirens and horns signifying retreat

Don't let the bloody banner hit the ground

The revolutions finally come to town

There'll be plenty of time to suffer later.

Once the tyrants hit the ground.

Don't take their heads for they only grow another.

Just make them suffer then turn them loose without their wallets.

Be humble about your revenge.

agrihoods

Below, I am republishing something I ran across on internet while looking for co-operatives/collaborationst/ different types of community that I feel the alternative progressive world needs to endorse for any type of revolution. And Revolution is the key word here. How these (largely middle class) communities are organized or how they vote is not important here. This is an example of what needs to be done worldwide, the development of real sustained community un-reliant on state, national interests, like the quakers or other farming communities, such as Amish, without the reliance on religion or national politics for its internal organization.
There is no doubt in my mind that unless we (progressives, anti-violence, freedom loving people) have to eat and we have to work, and we have to live in accordance with our values and beliefs and still leave room for those who don't share some of our values, BUT those natural divisions shouldn't interfere nor destroy social cohesion.
And, of course, some will be left out or leave themselves out. I'm giving you the link to the full, advertised, and "corporatized" link but if you want to skip that, read the excerpted version (copied) to get the basic idea and do your own research.
If anyone has visited any of the seven or any other communities based on sustained living, such as co-housing, cooperative, or collaborationist, farming, let's start a conversation by you sending your links, conversation to this blog via comments.
And since, like millions of others, i am completely flustered and horrified that the fascist cat is out of the bag, we need to forget that dissent and our beliefs are always going to be targets for those who not just disagree but are willing to throw us under the bus of oppression.

Historical Context and Evolution of Planned Agricultural Communities

While the term “agrihood” may be new, the concept is rooted in a long legacy of intentional, land-based community development. Let’s take a brief look at the history that shaped modern agrihoods:

Freedom Farm Cooperative: An Early Vision of Community Self-Sufficiency

Long before today’s organic farm neighborhoods, pioneers such as the Freedom Farm Cooperative in Mississippi (founded 1967) set a transformative precedent. Led by acclaimed civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer, Freedom Farm provided Black families with access to land, food, housing, and education. This cooperative model not only supported self-sufficiency and food security, but also championed economic empowerment and social justice. It remains a testament to the power of communities coming together through agriculture, blending political participation and daily livelihood.

From 20th Century Intentional Communities to Modern Agrihoods

Throughout the 20th century, intentional communities with farms attracted people seeking shared values, communal living, and direct connection to nature. By the 1990s, agrihoods became a formal part of urban planning — not just relief from urban sprawl, but blueprints for sustainable living communities built around food production and environmental principles.

Today, we see this legacy reflected in the best agricultural residential developments: purpose-driven neighborhoods where food, farm, education, and environmental care are central to an inspired lifestyle.

At their heart, agrihoods thrive on the powerful synergy between agriculture and community-oriented residential living. Let’s explore the defining characteristics that set them apart from typical housing developments:

Centralized Working Farms and Community Gardens

  • Integrated Farm Spaces: Most agrihoods are built around a central organic farm or community garden that supplies residents with a constant stream of fresh, locally grown produce.
  • For example, Agritopia in Gilbert, Arizona features an 11-acre certified organic farm, while Cobb Hill in Vermont maintains extensive vegetable fields, orchard, and pasture.

Sustainable Design and Eco-Friendly Building Practices

  • Homes and community spaces are constructed with green building methods: high-efficiency insulationsolar orientation, smart resource use, and energy-efficient appliances.
  • Communities such as Cobb Hill lead the way in sustainability, minimizing their ecological footprint and supporting renewable energy.

Community Engagement, Education, and Social Interaction

  • Educational programs — workshops, youth camps, farm tours — aim to cultivate knowledge of organic practices and healthy living.
  • Frequently, design features (like shared gardens or narrow, pedestrian-friendly streets) encourage meaningful neighborly interaction.
  • Serenbe in Georgia, for example, boasts regular farm-to-table dinners and wellness workshops, fostering a close-knit communal spirit.

Mixed-Use and Accessible Living Spaces

  • Agrihoods blend housing with commercial and recreational areas —think farmers’ markets, small shops, playgrounds, and trails.
  • This maximizes walkability and provides diverse opportunities for community gathering, food sales, and leisure activities.

Commitment to Environmental Stewardship and Health

  • Most agrihoods implement organic farming, water conservation, wildlife-friendly landscaping, and reduced pesticide use.
  • Direct access to locally grown fruits and vegetables not only benefits nutrition but encourages a deep sense of place and purpose.

“Agrihood residents can access up to 70% of their produce needs directly from on-site community farms.”

To help us understand the landscape of modern agrihoods, here’s a comparative table that highlights each community’s location, population, acreage, percentage of land dedicated to agriculture, main crops, sustainability practices, and unique features.

Recant the incantation.

Recant the incantation.
I've been watching and listening to alot of you tube dissenters, but mostly the Young Turks, who I actually like most of the time but recently they had an episode trying to recycle the "I love America, but not what America does" incantation in order to alleviate concerns, I suppose, of regular people who listen to their righteous spiel, yet think they may be anti-American as well as anti-Semitic.
Frankly, I don't know what America is. It's kind of like Gertrude Stein's statement about Oakland, "There is no there, there." Don't get me wrong, I like Oakland in the same way I think of America. I lived there and live here in America. I born here, my parents born here, and eventually, as for us all, and I mean all, go back far enough and all our ancestors born somewhere else. Whether by land bridges, boats, by foot path, air, and ambition, we have all come here, tried to live here, made here in spite the unnatural obstacles thrown up in front of us by false pretenses, lies, promises, and all the incantations of the mystical, cultist, political systems we live under.
So, America to me is the Grand Canyon, places like that. Nativism means nothing to me. If there's anything left of a native/indigenous "place" on this earth, it has been usurped, corrupted, misused, abused by sometimes the native as well as the settlers themselves. The land is free, it's just as Rousseau said, "When the first person built a fence or wall, and the rest of us walked around in deference to that fence, that "ownership" by King, Prince, or wealthy man, we all became some sort of slave and serfs and working for others rather than for ourselves, we all became owned.
If there is an America like what people say they believe in, like a personality, like they have made God, presidents, and other authoritarians, it is something with a fence or wall between you and your freedom.
I'd rather believe in the Grand Canyon version.

If you look, meaning read, or know, about cosmology

If you look, meaning read, or know, about cosmology, and new theories of universes, and black holes, you'd realize that infinity and God and everything we can see through the lens of both telescopes and microscopes have nothing to do with us.
The chances that there is someone like you with almost the exact DNA is both obscure and a surety, that's how random it all is. And how unnecessary any of us are in the real scheme of things.
With that in mind, I can say we aren't really a nation of law and order but a cosmology of beliefs, both true and untrue, time worn out traditions and false assumptions and unfortunately there is a small amount of people who are willing to admit this or realize its consequences. Human societies, especially the most authoritarian, those who completely disregard any legitimized law and are skeptical, which they should be, any commonsense law have so bound their citizenry with the ropes of legalities, making it impossible for most common people to even justify risking their freedom to protest. Most protests begin with the value of people and end up with evaluating property.
The left-wing portion of the January 6 right wing portion all mean the same thing to the media. It's news with a hidden message. Businesses themselves think that in this case where their customers are being rounded up and flown out of the country are divesting themselves of their own wealth.
By the way, I can hardly wait for ICE to start raiding the mansion class of those working for the wealthy. Maybe even places like Home Depot, a corporation owned by Maga supporters will think twice about how much those day workers supply the little contractors who spend their money there, actually contribute to the circle of life. Exploitation is a double-edged sword. You can't exploit people by paying low wages, high rents, and then support their eradication or whatever you want to call it.
Everyone calls for law and order and the right to protest but no one on the other side calls for legal deportations according to the laws established over decades of immigrants in this society. iCE breaks the law, then someone else breaks the law, and that someone is punished. What kind of sense is that? It's all about theater and who controls the stage?
I'm sitting down amidst the fire and ICE of today,
Sitting down

Shame

Shame
Here's one problem with democrats and democrat constituents. Shame. I don't feel sorry for those who don't vote because they are ashamed to vote on benefit type of issues. Medicade, Snap. Social Security, Free public education. Regulations to protect the health, and, possibly the most important, vote to protect the constitutional rights of due process and justice for all. If you can't arise above lessor issues, such as the ones that only affect you, to unite over the most important issues of your lifetime, then so be it.
Don't be ashamed. Being on food stamps, other benefits, disability payments, homeless, because you are a part of this society as much as anyone.
The truth has become, along with freedom of speech, like a sack full of kittens thrown into the swamp. There is plenty of reactive, oppositional talk to every notorious and anti-humanitarian political lesson out there, but, sadly, we are trapped in what scientists might describe as a heat dome, translated to non-scientific life, a virtual imprisonment of freedom to anything, except singular and defenseless amelioration of our consciousness. In other less wordy words, were fucked.
The land has been confiscated and redistributed, the politics, democratic or even revolutionary defense of ideals has been thwarted by government, solutions controlled by capital or political interests and not by necessity or practicality or even common sense, the institutionalized political process has been dismantled, and even terminology that historically had significance, such as international law, ethnic cleansing, genocide, Justice for all, due process, human rights, and many others, have become like the Tower of Babel.

Living in America is like being a child in a house

Living in America is like being a child in a house with many other siblings and a couple of abusive parents, where you think you're a little bit safer since there are 300 + million people, you're a alot less likely to be singled out because the chances you're going to be picked for retribution are a lot less. So you go along, ignore the sounds from the bedroom next to to you, and just hope and pray you'll be lucky this time. It's called the herd we live in but always, like the lottery, always a slim chance the predators will target you.
Being an American means Israel can have atomic bombs but another sovereign nation can't have bombs because although Israel repeats it over and over and over again, Iran doesn't have a bomb, like Iraq didn't have a bomb, and would rather not have a bomb, because Americans have been told that Iranians are evil, not just a nation in conflict, like every other nation, like America, Iran is supposed to be controlled or allow themselves to be controlled because America and Israel say so, says so.
There's no need for any of this. It's the same as Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza and now Iran and unless, for some obscure reason, America wakes up to its own hubris, that the world with whoever is in it will not survive, except under some sort of authoritarian, power hungry FOOL.
It's not very soothing to know the sands of time will eventually bury the most powerful nation on earth, in this period, and be forgotten, but preserved in a line in a history books along with the Persisn empire, the Roman Empire, and any other "empire" that outlived its own idealized dream.
