Age of Aquarius

Age of Aquarius

The It Person

The Have and Have Nots

Never practiced in front of the mirror how to lie or bribe, talk dirty or ascribe to deception,

Or what I’d say when I died to make everything fine about what I did

Or did not do to make it all right.

If the have nots only want what the haves have in regards to material wealth, then nothing’s changed.

If the oppressed only want to be the oppressor then nothing’s changed.

If the haves won't share/give to the have nots, then nothing’s changed.

There's only so much to go around and too few have too much, many have what they don't need, and too many want what can't be bought and can only be stolen.

When will it stop?

This merry go round of desperation and greed.

My only hope is that somewhere in the world/now

a child has been born /

who will never bend to old/

never forever be disgraced upon the public stage/

never regret the folly of youth nor the wisdom of old age/

will recant the superiority of race and division of gender/

but will always rise up to face/

lead us into the future/

the reciprocity of equal/

the sharing of freedom/

the it person.

Sex and Violence

When you get as close as Him and his fellatio totalitarians are to accomplishing and finishing off any semblance to the New Deal, the old constitution, the new society, and anything else they can get their hands on, you can count on a dreary future, at least until the HOPE of mid-term elections is closer to the drawing board.  Sad that the only HOPE is the slight chance of going backwards to another time when Congress, the lawmaking, budget creating, and war (as will, I suppose, PEACE) making representative of the American people can give up it's Constitutional privileges once again, to the highest bidder.

Of course, their hands never get dirty.

Free thinking about the war on sexual freedom.

Although we all can argue what an adult is and at what magical age, we all become adults, whoops, that's the problem isn't it? Agreement is based not on what may be abuse, such as an age of consent or acceptable age of adulthood or a standard set on positions of power relationships between all the possible relationships anyone can have.

Ironically, the Bible or Koran or any of those other sin/punishment books of the pre-medieval period never said anything about sex, except the implication that girls, would submit, and men, whenever possible, will make sure girls submit. Remnants of the old-world order still with us today.

So much for sexual freedom.

But what about sexual liberation? That becomes a matter of education, right? Liberation education is what is necessary for freedom to be understood. It is claimed that families and churches teach respect, responsibility, and standards of behavior. It's also claimed that teaching is connected to what the church, what the family sees as punishment for not adhering to those standards. In the old days, but no longer, the family held the reins of control over their children. But it was different when families were isolated on farms and informed by country church preachers and ethics. The standards of behavior, especially sexual relationships have come along ways from those old days. Young people are leaving small town and small minded america, going to regions with college towns and neighborhoods and boroughs where codes and standards are more fitting and real to young communities. Thats what should happen. Instead, we get the picture of the time when young people left their small towns everywhere, their crowded urban environments and went off to war and came back either heroes or dupes. But many did not go home, they'd seen too much, they took up the needle, the bottle, the "monster" they were sent to kill, came back inside of them. They changed but, most of all, their dreams of taking over the farm, becoming plumbers, auto mechanics, a simpler life (for that's what they fought for) weren't going to be realized. America slowly became a nation of despair.

Heroism fades, swallowed by history with every new need for another, and another, memories die and the next generation's appetite, demand for change.

Since i haven't been young for a long time i can only assume that young people establish their own standards of behavior just like my generation did, of equality and freedom notwithstanding. Of course, it wasn't perfect. But what is?

The totalitarian powers that be are old fashioned and outdated, but any conservative would say those outdated behaviors are good but there's no proof that they are good or the reason that they are is only because the institutionalized law supports them, and we already should know how laws and standards are established.

Change is slow or nonexistent, laws don't reflect what people, in this case young people, are doing. And we know that no matter what generations of young people liberalize, they later in life teach their children what their parents taught them, maybe, even adding more fear for young women or more guilt for both young men and women.

I guess I can say, forget what your parents taught you, there's a good chance it was wrong or misguided, but remember to avoid their addictions too.

Violence is another symptom of the repression we all experience, though, unlike sex, there seems to be no restriction on the amount of violence citizens must endure, whether it is reality or make believe. We are constantly bombarded with the idea that violence is transformative, that is, it gets what we want as a nation and religion, it signifies cohesiveness, and all the future scenarios envision a violent dystopian environment. It's kill or be killed, and all our heroes evoke that principal., whether it be on our streets (look at the armament of the police and military), in our foreign policy (which includes the psychological type of violence of sanctions, aid blockage as well as the use of the military arbitrarily against any target anywhere, anytime), and rhetorical violence (the bullying and more mundane political, competitive demands of the powerful over the citizenry). There is even the secret violence, perpetrated by the underbelly of nations, their operations plans. When I worked for the military (as a dumb twenty year old), i was quietly surprised at the way in which america planned/plans for the world war three scenario, and I imagine, it has not changed much, except for the technology, it will still be one million casualties here, two million casualties there, until the technology is depleted or whatever humanity is left, rebels/rebuilds from the rubble men's minds leave behind.

Lets all hope that at that time, we won't revert back to what the "good" books say about repopulating the earth for the greater glory. However, history does repeat itself, always.

We're all caught in a recycle of SIN., with only priests, preachers, and cruel military men and politicians to tide us over, unless we use the one thing we have to thwart this snake eating its tail retelling, spit it out, and start looking for some real food.

Bringing it back home

I have liberal friends, or acquaintances who say they speak up when they have to but when it comes to their friends and especially family, they remain quiet in order to maintain "civil". That's what's wrong with freedom of speech, or for that matter, any freedom, even democracy. We either are self-restricting or as in the case of democracy, only gripe if our choices, which have been restricted, are not that satisfying. Freedom of speech also becomes irrelevant at thanksgiving dinners, office water coolers, or in bars and social clubs where dancing or drinking are supreme. Sure, one can make alot of trouble for themselves by utilizing any of the above-mentioned opportunities to rant and rave about what anyone considers grave injustice in the world.

Since people need jobs, it's not too bright to be the only one at your place of work who wants to speak up about injustice. Of course, one can exercise freedom of choice by finding another job or just not working at all but that seems like a luxury most people can't afford. Only fascist politicians, comfortable with their wealth and power, have the full use of the language to make atrocity, genocide, totalitarianism functional or practical for their purposes. The rest of us must maintain silence, not as cowards but as realists. For you cowards out there, don't say you agree because there is always something you can do, you might have to use your freedom of resistance.

Besides, it's mostly to no avail to just speak up, people don't talk about things openly and passionately because we almost always don't want to be bombarded with information at those places because the news, in its own semi-quiet way, is constantly reminding us what's going on and as per freedom of speech rules in the media, we are designed to read between the lines anyway.

Where do all these so-called freedoms leave us? Everyone eventually runs up against one of those freedoms and has to make a "choice" as to what to do about it. Plug your nose and vote for the "lessor of two evils, or bad choices", shut up and bite your tongue for the sake of harmony, turn your other cheek and take your punishment, and ignore it and see if it goes away. And its true, we shouldn't always have to answer the unanswerable. What good is that?

I've found democracy as practiced, freedom as practiced and not as described, to be basically fruitless when it comes to actual change. If one wants to quit smoking, talking about it with all the scientific facts behind your decision or indecisiveness, makes you just boring, rather than magically making you a non-smoker. Unfortunately, the main political forces opposing fascist or neo-liberal thinking have chosen , almost exclusively, freedom of speech as their main weapon outside of liberal lawyers.

It's not a good look. People want change and it does seem like the only change the left wants is who can go to what bathroom, who can dance, shout, and rumble in the streets rather than building community by sharing resources, traditions, culture through food, working and respecting one another. When thats done, most people are more than willing to accept idiosyncrasies or differences. I say most and I believe thats true. Again, living isnt trying to be perfect, everyone makes mistakes, and the only ones who need to be restricted are the ones who hurt, hate, and try to control everyone (they're the ones who want to run for some official status). Leaders should arise out of the community not the political machines or parties. The world needs activists, those who are involved in the community, are investing time (and not money) to improve the community, those dedicated, not those who are overseers, chosen by special interests.

Now, I want to allay the possibility some of you readers are thinking that what I am implying is for state or local running of the community and to some extent i believe the closer one is to the community ( and its working class) the better it is for maintaining all the other aspects of living, including traditions, cultural standards, and freedoms. BUT, if you're going to have a Federal system of governance then the Federal cannot run the show nor be manipulated and corrupted by big money interests where everything becomes a battleground for power, money, and international policies taking the majority of resources.

Its a recipe for disaster, which we can see has brought us to the current political standoff. This the opportunity for us to excercise local and community control but it will have to be done without the help from state and federal resources because we're not going to get them, not now and even going back, we never got what is necessary. Public education, social security, rights to privacy (among many other priveleges) have been decimated and corrupted over decades if not centuries.

The cold war definitely played a telling part in our reliance on the federal government. Federal, state's and local (Public) rights have been fought over since americas and civilizations beginnings, but the cold war brought us all involuntarily under the nation state's protection, influence, and Democracy became the instrument for making consensus dependent on supporting the cold war mentality regardless of what party you belonged to. Thats why social, communistic, liberal, union parties and voters which were popular before world war 2 were either banished or broken up or outlawed, either by decree, law, media isolation, and/or absorbed/isolated by the main two-party system, which despite its minor differences has always been united in its defense of americas interests, mostly abroad, due to cold war fanaticism.

Bringing the politics home(local) eliminates all the bullshit at the top, which we really have no control over at all. Thats one of the misgivings about representative democracy at the top is its so prone to corruption, bribery, and influence from wealthy and powerful individuals.

I want to see my representatives working alongside or nearby, see them walking down the street. When I was in alaska, small town capital juneau, it was commonplace to see the governor walking around town. Maybe I didn't agree with his politics at the time but it was impressive to say the least. There was a vulnerability there, I don't think I'd see that today anywhere. They all have limos and armored cars and big bank accounts. politics is about money now and they have lots of it at their disposal, and I believe, thats ours but we won't ever see it unless we take it back and put it to use on our streets, schools, local economies. Everyone should have a job if they want,

Free thinking

The free thinking society

The freedom to work.

A belief that a persons "work" is the basis for alł oppression.

The belief that the primary oppression is the tyranny of supremacy of "work" ownership by profit directed economics.

When you continue to use the term "alien" thats going to ultimately affect how you treat them.

Racism, geneism, ethnic cleansing, genocidal practices are all practices that impede and oppress the natural freedom every person's right to survival.

Survival, not of the fittest, but of necessity. From homeless to low wage, from women, children, and men to they, her, him, or it.

Does anyone remain who is not skeptical of the ignorant totalitarians who have "legitimately" broken the " gentleman" Code of conduct developed from the religious-capital squabbles of the mid fifteenth century forward?

The roman salute vs heil hitler. Complements of Musk, who has suddenly been elevated to Oliver Cromwell. Yes there is still something to be learned from the reign of kings. I hear there was a quillotine at a anti-trump rally. Right on French Revolution. Trump might bring that form of decapitalistic punishment. A look at Our Future under totalitarian thought,

I hope all this raises the hackles of those american zionist defenders who accuse anyone against zionism as equivalent to anti-semitism. Now, we'll see real anti-semitism at work, alł the while continuing to support israel genocide. An irony, for sure. Weaponization of israel has nothing to do with pro semitism and everything to do with how power remains an incentive for profit, control, and oppression.

Poor biden and harris- biden with his head low, resting on his hand, a thinking man- listening to his life and country be unwound like penelope's cloth, ulysses will not be coming home tonight.

Maybe some day, everyone will look back and laugh at all this absurdity, probably not me, though ill be looking down from heaven, self-satisfied, If that's allowed by the gods that are still hanging around.

Everything is not about america

Maya and all the other alternative news media who pride themselves on telling the truth about fascism, you're not really telling the truth. Everything is not about america just because america seems to be at the center of what's wrong with the world, just because we are in america.  whatever is happening now has been happening before and since we were born. we were born into this life and have been shielded, protected, and miseducated, except for those who found they were born into this life, unprotected, but even those dont know how it all came to be.

Here's the truth that no one wants to hear. At the top of the food chain, those who govern the governments, those who arm the militaries, those who own the resources, those who employ the people, even those who run the charities have nothing to do with those who live, work, play, shop, in the streets, homes, parks, businesses, fields.

We are all the same. Whether in Iran, Cuba, Russia, America, Mexico, all the nations America hates, all the nations america uses and abuses. So why aren't we dispelling the one mythology that separates us all? The mythology that is created and sustained by the owners and owner's dogs of war. There is no difference between any one nation's people than another. The skyscrapers, the markets, the bars, coffee shops, the fields of the lord, everything, the same, even the destitute, the poor, and the fearful. Everyone is doing their best to ignore or deny that one truth. It's not about america, it's not about Iran, Russia, Cuba, it's about THEM, the ones who rule, it's about something bigger than America.

This is not about the end times, but for many this is the apocalypse, the dystopian future beckoning

The war is not about nor in america, the war is them vs us. We are the majority. It's not about USAID and its good around the world, it's about USAID and it being used by the CIA, american industrial/agricultural conglomerates, corporate NGO capitalists., it's about what they can take away, their whims.

Fascism is evil. It's not a political system. It's the basis for complete authoritarian power, and it's ironic that the generation (my generation) that got the remains of the last worldwide fascistic movement (the end of ww2 and beginning of the cold war) is now presented with its climax, at the end of our lives.

I can see that all my life this historical moment has been coming despite the smokescreens, the illusions of the powerful magicians, the anti-tolstoyans, and rise of the objectivists, the tolkien world. star wars. superheroes, the lone ranger.

Civilizations have come and gone, just like the apocalypse comes and goes, and if i have faith, or even hope, it's for the future, although i dont imagine it ever being the same as before my eyes were opened. This nation will fail, fall apart, come apart but maybe not before we do. It's inevitable. Even if someone gets to the monsters who seem to be prevailing, takes them down, i dont have faith that humpty dumpty will be put back together in such a way that the egg will not be rotten from the inside out.

Does that leave out keep on truckin? No, it does not. Those who fight, in one way or another, are always here and sometimes, for a while, do prevail.

Its here.

Its here. The revolution. The revolution i didnt want. And it was and is being televised. Nothing secret about it. No cabal, no secret organization, no terroristic organization, just the one unified principle, moneys power to change the world. I'ts the revolution of dagny taggart and john galt.

If anyone believes that real change comes about through democracy, equal rights, cooperation, or in the belief of good triumphing over evil, they are mistaken. There are good people, there are good efforts, there are good ideas but there are no good autocratic, authoritarian, medieval revolutions.

The human world is comprised of the layered ruins of everything- political, theocratic, nationalistic civilizations.

The revolution of the wheel, of the light bulb, of the oil driven machines, all have contributed to the furtherance of civilization, yet, political power was, and still is, maintained by primitive, traditionalist medieval movements.

We all have to remember (in spirit) that free speech was gained through massive university pressures by students and now, again, free speech has to be protected but do we want to have to do this again? The answer is, of course, if we must. Though this revolution of billionaire men looks solid, it will ultimately fail but not without first leaving certain things in tatters, and we will have to work again but the question for us will have to be, do we want to just go back to 2015 or forward to our needs for 2026 or beyond?

Who's to Blame?

It isn't imperative that Trump and his cohorts have the publics support so as their popularity begins to fray and their revolution starts to betray them, it doesn't matter to them because they have the "democratic mandate". Ironically, the democrats don't moan and gripe that for some reason the public upon which they all prey, got it wrong once again. The Democrats don't bray about election interference, they're just happy the process wasn't corrupted. This election went unscathed by neither attribution nor attrition. Happy that the system works. And that my friends is what's wrong with democracy, a word that has almost become the equivalent of a certain kind of freedom, which it isn't.

It's true, anyone eligible to vote, can choose not to vote. Choice being the key word here, and for those who think having a choice is what freedom is about should reflect on whether or not Pinterest or Amazon is the correct example of having choice.

I have noticed lately as I've taken up watching those travel videos produced by various world travelers that the modern world is composed of beautiful skylines and popular eating, buying, and historical spots of human interest. These modern skylines are everywhere, including Saudi Arabia, moscow, tehran, Buenos Aires, I mean everywhere, and there are rapid train, metro type systems, both modern and sleek, in all these cities that for some obvious reasons, americans have to feel these places are inferior to us. The streets "there" are filled with people going about their business, talking, conversing, interacting, eating lunch while the cars, oh yes, many cars travel down modern freeways, boulevards, and brick laden streets.

When I look at these videos, seemingly made by adventurous world travelers, I wonder what's so different with the people in those other nations, many of them under american sanctions or, even being used by american military might, or enemies of america and i look at the people, the ordinary people and they are just like me. Their country may be at war because the politicians of their nation are just like the politicians in america, producing fake illusions about who they are but, most of all, producing the illusion that for whatever reason they are different than others, they are special, supreme in some way, just like americans believe that if it comes down to it, it's more important to "destroy" these nations which are just like we are in order to rectify or to justify or just to imply who is revealing the truth to the world.

Here's my point. Life in the modern world is exactly the same in every corner of the modern world. The people of every nation deal with exactly the same issues about survival, which includes any national, local, region issues, such as internal or external conflicts, prejudices, economic interests And, for the sake of maintaining thematic consistency, they make whatever choices (freedoms) are available to them. There are a million choices but one choice that is not left to any of us, is how do we want to be free, free from the choices they have given to us and free to not choose or to choose what isn't there. The existential choice.

We all know you can't have everything your way, all the time. And for some, they never get their own way in anything. Thats the way it is. The world, meaning nature and all that we sustain ourselves with, is fickle and arbitrary, yet men, in their various disguises and masks, feel if they tinker with everything, from technological advancement to rules of common behavior, and especially, with what they consider aberrant behavior, life will be more manageable. Those who really want to manage this for others are, of course, the ones everyone should watch out for (the old snake oil salesman) but instead, we believe, all of us, that those nuisances and tragedies that make up, whether we like it or not, our daily lives, can be better and better, nearly perfect, if a) the right person comes along to create the environment we think we need to thrive, b) if we can eliminate those obstacles from our lives, though those obstacles are as much a part of the living process as we are and c) submit to a higher power, whether or not all those higher powers have been integrated into all the other national agendas for every nation, tribe and militia in the world.

Believe it or not, everything has already been tried, whether on a small scale or world scale. whether it be snake oil, penicillin, fascism, nationalism, and even the prized democracy laden wars and economic catastrophes, all been there, done that. Iran and Russia, america, all the same. When the bombers come, the missiles, the rules driven, yet chaotic fascists or manipulators, the savior representatives from on high (and low), we all, all over the world will torpedo ourselves, once again sink to the bottom of the heap, only to rise again to the lead covered ceiling, rise up, shake the radioactive or volcanic dust from our trousers, and point the finger of blame to someone or something other than ourselves.
